On Wednesday, 12 November 2025, the President of King Abdulaziz University, Dr. Tareef bin Youssef Alaama, inaugurated a suite of new digital systems designed to improve operational efficiency, simplify academic and administrative procedures, and support a secure, integrated digital environment across the university.
The new systems include:
• Events Management System:
A unified platform for planning, managing, and evaluating university events and discussion sessions. It allows departments to coordinate, document, and assess activities seamlessly, with full integration into the university’s existing digital infrastructure.
• Graduate Studies Transactions System:
A platform that enables students, faculty, and administrative units to process all graduate program transactions electronically, from application through academic and administrative approvals, to real-time tracking and final submission. It reduces paperwork, accelerates workflows, ensures transparency, and provides a centralized database for analytics and reporting.
• Data Management System:
A comprehensive platform to enhance data governance through standardized coding, metadata control, and data classification, while ensuring accuracy and integration across university systems.
These initiatives are part of the university’s strategic goal to deliver “Smart Solutions and Tangible Outcomes,” aiming to enhance institutional performance, streamline operations, and align with national digital transformation objectives.
